Between Tides is an invitation—an ocean-bound gathering of environmentalists, dancers, and artists to explore embodied art-action at the meeting point of land and sea.
This campaign is raising funds to support those who feel deeply called to move, create, and inquire within this space but face financial barriers. It also helps sustain the work of artists weaving ecological awareness into creative expression.

This will be the third edition of our Ocean Movement Art Residency
it runs on the commitment and resources of our team, without external grants or institutional funding.
In Indonesia, public funding for the arts is scarce,
making it difficult for many to access spaces of movement research and artistic creation.
Scholarships are a way to keep the doors open to diverse voices—allowing the residency to be a confluence of perspectives, disciplines, and ways of being with nature.
They also serve as an investment in a wider field of artists and practitioners—ensuring that alternative forms of movement education remain accessible, expansive, and generative.

They believe that when humans come into the right relationship with their inner waters, they awaken the capacity to restore and rekindle their connection to outer waters—rivers, oceans, and all other living bodies, shaping a world rooted in regeneration.
Between Tides Residency team also includes Kira and her performance research project Sreda Playground; as well as other freediving instructors in town.
